Red rock casino placerville california12/22/2023 The trail is located off of Deadwood Road near Devil’s Thumb. The sign placement was attended by a small group of club members and proudly posed by the sign. The Foresthill 4 Wheelers have been an established wheeling/outdoor enthusiasts club since 2007 with a member roster of 32 families. The club recently achieved the final part of the process by erecting a sign displaying the results of a successful partnership with the Tahoe National Forest. This commitment has made the Grouse Creek Jeep Trail more easily accessible for anyone desiring to take the trek down to a beautiful location on the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the American River. The process took well over a year with many club member volunteer hours spent traveling the trail and clearing it of overgrowth. The project was spearheaded and led by Jason Brooks, club member. Our club stands by the mission of Cal4Wheel in keeping trails open to the public. The Adopt-A-Trail is a volunteer program that allows the public to be active in preserving public trails for the enjoyment of all. The Foresthill 4 Wheelers are proud to share their efforts in collaboration with the Tahoe National Forest’s Adopt-A-Trail program.
